Student Government

Leadership Quote by Edwin H. Friedman

Want to Participate?

Interested in participating in student government?

Students can participate in Student Congress, either as members or as officers. Each eClass elects one Representative and one Senator is appointed by each Educational Facilitator. The resulting Student Congress elects a President, President-Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer. These officers serve for one year, providing leadership and conducting the business of the Student Congress.

Students can also participate as club representatives, who attend scheduled meetings and participate in the student government forums, but do not hold voting rights.

Any student can choose to attend a meeting, either just to observe or to present a comment or concern. Students can also ask to have an item formally placed on the agenda.

For more information on how to participate in Student Congress, contact your educational facilitator, or login to access the forum.
