Welcome to Achieve Online

21st Renaissance Education

The Washington Academy of Arts & Technology is a tuition-free K-12 public school offering a cutting-edge 21st Century education while personalizing learning to individual student needs and interests.

Each student chooses a educational facilitator who guides and oversees the student's program, helping tailor learning to match learning styles, personal interests, and abilities. The educational facilitator also connects students to highly qualified Core Subject Specialists and the many resources available to ensure student success.

WAAT's blended model allows for both online and project-based learning options, the choice to focus on one subject at a time, or to multi-task with two or more classes at a time. There are no arbitrary limitations on how many classes a student is allowed to complete in a semester- the only limiting factors are the student's own ability and motivation to master the concepts. See the curriculum and instruction options outlined for both K-8 and high school programs for more information.

Who Attends Achieve Online?

Students choose the Washington Academy of Arts & Technology for many reasons. Some are professional athletes or performing artists who need flexibility to work around their schedules. Other students work full time and have family responsibilities. Some students need to catch up in credits while other students are accelerated learners who do not want to be held back from meeting their greatest potential.

WAAT's personalized learning program, facilitated by the latest in educational technology, is able to meet the needs of each of these groups and many others.
